Vicious Circle is an uncooperative multiplayer shooter in which mercenaries compete for loot against a terrifying monster. Rooster Teeth Games launched it on Steam in 2019.
I joined the Vicious Circle production in the pre-Alpha phase as the marketing team's social media and community intern. I worked closely with the lead developers, marketing experts, and Rooster Teeth's Community team to strategize and develop the game's community engagement and marketing strategies leading up to its official release.
My primary responsibilities included managing and coordinating the distribution of work to the volunteer community moderators, plan weekly engagement events aimed at growing the gaming Discord community, create informational graphics to entice community members to attend the planned events, and create marketing materials following brand guidelines for Rooster Teeth Games' social media platforms. I also acted as a convention assistant for the Vicious Circle booth at RTX 2019, and planned and organized the department’s community meet-up event details from fliers to coordinating with a local restaurant to host 50-plus attendees.
