Dimensional Double Shift is a hand-track, cooperative multiplayer VR game. It was launched on the Meta Quest on Sept. 30, 2024, and recently passed more than 400,000 players on the game. Owlchemy Labs contracted FarBridge, my employer, as a vendor for the project.
I joined the team during the Concept phase as the Outsourced Producer for Art and Engineering teams. I was on the project through Beta launch. My primary goals as a producer for this project were:
Establish and maintain a healthy relationship between the outsourced FarBridge team and the client, Owlchemy Labs.
Balance the needs of the product with the needs of the team, aiming to ensure a healthy work-life balance.
Assist with employee professional growth and development by partnering with FarBridge leadership to track individual team member milestones and goals.
My primary responsibilities were partnering with lead producers and creative directors to integrate the outsourced art and engineering team members, establish milestone and deliverable goals, quickly ramp up the team members, workload assignment and tracking, and ensuring all assets and deliverables met client standards and timeframes.
