Battlefield Mobile was a free-to-play mobile version of EA's Battlefield series. The game Open Beta / soft launched on Android on Nov. 8, 2022, but was canceled on Jan. 31, 2023.Â
As part of FarBridge's partnership with the game's lead developer Industrial Toys, my team was tasked with optimizing the art assets of two iconic Battlefield maps. I acted as a Producer on the project with the primary role of coordinating and supervising the outsourced art team members based in China. Due to the time difference and communication barriers, I was challenged with ensuring each artist understood the acceptance criteria for 200+ assets per asset pack and all assets hit optimization and quality standards upon final delivery.
My responsibilities included setting up ShotGrid pages for each asset, assigning workloads, monitoring asset performance optimization tests and relaying any performance issues, tracking team velocity and communicating anticipated deliverable delays to the Lead Producer based on the team's submission trajectory.
