This musical is by bookwriter Lindsay Anderson, with music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Music and lyrics for the kids' adaptation are adapted by Myrna Conn. It is based on the 2003 Pixar film by Bob Peterson, David Reynolds, and Andrew Stanton. Stanton also directed the film.

Finding Nemo KIDS was performed at the lower school Moses Brown Summer Theatre Intensive in 2023.
