As people grow more and more isolated, and as more and more "art" is being generated by computers, I believe in the importance of live, human-driven art. One of the most beautiful things about theatre is its humanity—the actors you see are humans, not robots. They have been directed by humans, not computers. Their words are human-written, not generated. The theatre has always been vital, but now more than ever, it is important that we continue making it. Live performance cannot be taken from people, and in an isolated world, communal creativity is an act of resistance.
