The Comment at Bridgewater State University is a long-standing, pioneering organization in student media. As a meticulous and detail-oriented Copy Editor and then Operations Director, I refined and perfected written, bi-weekly content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency. My expertise lies in reviewing and revising text to enhance its quality, readability, and impact.

As the Operations Director, I managed The Comment's Instagram account, exponentially growing our following and increasing community engagement. 

Key Responsibilities:

- Review and edit content for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and syntax errors

- Ensure consistency in style, tone, and brand voice across all content, be it sports, global or local news, arts, entertainment, and opinion pieces

- Fact-check and verify information for both accuracy and credibility

- Collaborate with writers and creative directors to maintain the cohesive visual and textual identity of the paper, upholding the values of the University

- Meet deadlines and deliver polished content on time

- Oversee social media graphics and captions for Instagram

- Organize fundraisers and events in collaboration with the editor-in-chief 

- Forge connections with the campus community, increasing our membership, advertising reach, and overall engagement
