My husband never stopped gushing about how stunning and historically significant the location was. We spent hours wandering about the area, snapping pictures, and just taking in the breathtaking scenery.

A journey is not complete without sampling the local cuisine, and Jordan did not let us down. Mansaf, the national cuisine of Jordan, which consists of rice, lamb, and a delectable yogurt sauce, was one of our favorite meals. It had a delicious and really distinctive taste.
