Emma is an undergraduate student at Berklee College of Music, pursuing her B.M. in Music Therapy with a minor in Psychology. Ever since childhood, she knew she wanted to use her music to help people. She plans to pursue her MA in Music Therapy, and her PhD in Speech and Language Pathology. She hopes to collaborate speech therapy and music therapy. Along with music therapy, Emma enjoys gigging and writing music with her band, A Lunar Rumor. She may be a great singer, but she also plays guitar, violin, and piano. Her friends refer to her as “Miss America” due to her extensive work with the Miss America Scholarship Foundation. She is a Music Therapy Ed Now team member, providing resources and advocating for fellow students, interns, and professionals. Emma is proud to come from a Scottish-Iranian immigrant family and will offer to make you Persian food if asked. Along with all her accomplishments, she tutors ESL part-time.
