Emma is a graduate of Berklee College of Music with a degree in Music Therapy. Currently, she is a music therapy intern at the Community Music Center of Boston.  Ever since childhood, she has known she wanted to use music to help people. She plans to pursue her MA in Speech & Language Pathology and her PhD in Psychology. She hopes to become a music cognition specialist and a non-profit consultant. Alongside music therapy, Emma enjoys gigging and writing music with her band, A Lunar Rumor. She may be a great singer, but she also plays guitar, violin, and piano. Her friends call her “Miss America” due to her extensive work with the Miss America Scholarship Foundation. She is a Music Therapy Ed Now team member, providing resources and advocating for fellow students, interns, and professionals. Emma is proud to come from a Scottish-Iranian immigrant family and will offer to make you Persian food if asked. In addition to her accomplishments, she tutors ESL part-time.
