Halloween Installation at The Loading Dock 2022
The Halloween installation is one of two installations I put up at the Loading Dock (a music Venue in Littleton NH) This Halloween Installation encompassed an entire hallway and includes props and scenic elements that were build, crafted, and painted throughout October 2022 leading up to a live show on the 29th.
The inspiration and goal of the installation was to reflect the viewer's immediate and larger environment back at them. At the beginning of the hallway was hanging branches and recreated, decrepit store signs from Littleton's main street. At the end of the hallway we built a Dead Band and created a marquee with the date of the performance hanging behind them. Littleton's mascot Pollyanna sits in front of them. In theory she might be hypnotized by the leaking, breaking tv in front of her - on which is an image of their siloettes; seemingly doing the breaking of the screen. Instead, Pollyanna looks off into the distance at a reflection of herself repeated millions of times in an infinite mirror.
