The purpose of this project was to highlight which Summer Learning data could be assessed accurately and clarify where there were inconsistencies so they could be avoided in the future. We organized data files by year and were able to provide statistics that show the effectiveness of the Summer Learning Program. We hope our research findings and recommendations will enhance the sustainability of the Summer Learning Program, contribute to an increase in funding, and improve the feasibility of expansion or adaptation in other communities. There are two slide decks below. The one on the left goes through the whole project and the one on the right is a mock-up I created for changes to the database that is used for the Summer Learning Program. Database changes are currently underway.
