I recently graduated Summa Cum Laude from Champlain College In Burlington, Vermont with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts. I majored In Creative Media with a minor In Environmental Policy and Studies. I am currently working at the Lake Champlain Basin Program as an Education and Outreach Steward. I am also illustrating a Vermont Field Guide Book for local Author Jeanette Malone.
My body of work includes a myriad of naturalist illustrations to accentuate the beauty and sacredness of nature as well as advocate for the rights of wildlife and the environment. The central line of inquiry in my pieces revolve around conserving wildlife and nature, and sharing their beauty and importance through art. I create illustrations of birds, mammals, amphibians, and plants that bring life to these species, often of high conservation need, so that viewers will feel compelled to love and protect them in the current Mass Extinction and Climate Crisis our planet is facing.
I find myself thriving in the intersection of art, environmental studies, and outreach & education. Sharing my love for wildlife and nature with a broad age range, and inspiring others to want to protect the species we share our environment with is truly my life's purpose.
