Emma served as the Clemson Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES) Social Chair and Interdepartmental Liaison for the 2025-2026 academic year.

As Social Chair, she organized social events, including end-of-semester coffee breaks in the fall and spring semesters and Clemson HFES's First Annual Pumpkin Painting Party, a tradition she hopes to carry into future years.

As Interdepartmental Liaison, she facilitated engagement among students from Industrial Engineering, Psychology, and Human-Centered Computing. She also helped to facilitate collaboration between HFES and Clemson's INFORMS student chapter for elementary school STEM outreach and a combined mentorship program.
