At EMIXchange, we believe that your financial planning should be private. This Privacy Policy describes how your information is handled when you use our mobile application
EMIXchange is designed to be a "Privacy-First" tool. * We do not require you to create an account.
We do not ask for your name, email, or phone number to use the calculators.
We do not sell your data to banks, insurance companies, or third parties.
To provide a functional experience, we only interact with the following data:
Financial Inputs: Any loan amounts, interest rates, or tenures you enter into the EMI calculator are processed locally on your device. This data is not uploaded to our servers.
Currency Conversion Requests: When you use the converter, the app sends a request to a third-party API to fetch the latest rates. This request does not include any personal information about you.
Google Firebase (Analytics & Crashlytics): Used to monitor app performance and fix technical bugs.
Google AdMob (Advertising): In future versions, we may show ads to keep this tool free. AdMob uses identifiers (like the Android Advertising ID) to show relevant ads and prevent fraud.
Currency APIs: Used to fetch real-time exchange rates. These requests are anonymous
You have the right to know how your data is shared.
No Sale of Personal Data: We do not sell your personal information (like your EMI calculations) to anyone.
Service Providers: Anonymous technical identifiers are shared with Google (via Firebase and AdMob) to facilitate app functionality and advertising.
Right to Know Recipients: Data is only shared with the service providers listed above for the purposes of app stability and monetization.
We respect your rights to control your data:
Right to Access: You may request information about the types of data collected by our third-party partners.
Right to Deletion: You can delete all local data by clearing app storage. You can reset your Advertising ID in your device’s Google Settings to "delete" your ad profile.
Right to Opt-Out: You can opt-out of personalized ads by going to your phone's Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization.
Security: All external requests for currency rates are handled via HTTPS encryption, ensuring no one can "sniff" your conversion requests.
Storage: Your EMI calculation history stays on your phone. We cannot see
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top.
