(The Youth Hope Trust)
Reon Nolan is the inspiring founder of Te Rangatahi Tumanako Trust, he is also one of my coaches along this journey. His guidance and dedication have made a huge impact on many young peopleās lives.Ā
Te Rangatahi Tumanako Trust (The Youth Hope Trust) was founded in 2015 with a powerful mission: to guide young people through lifeās toughest challenges toward hopeful and fulfilling futures. The Trust provides one-on-one mentoring and support for youth navigating difficult times, drawing on Reonās unique experience and passion for helping others.Ā
With the funds raised, the Trust is able to provide essentials such as food, new shoes, and the chance for young people to participate in activities that build confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging. Reon has even taken Youth on remarkable challenges like the Motatapu Challenge, Coast to Coast, and several marathons ā all to raise awareness and funds to support these young people on their journey.Ā
Every donation, no matter how small, makes a real difference in breaking cycles of hardship and opening doors to hope and opportunity.Ā

Pick one specific challenge for me to complete during training.Ā
Some ideas:Ā
Run the date in km (e.g. 14km on the 14th of August)Ā
Swim non-stop for an hourĀ
Train with no watch or musicĀ
Wake up pre-5am and goĀ
Try a new route or trailĀ
Zone 2 90-minute run, no pace goals

Design a full session Iāll complete and share.Ā

Brick: 25km bike ā 6km runĀ
Tempo intervals: 5x1km at race paceĀ
2km open water swimĀ
Mental grind: 90min trainer ride, no music, no breaks
Half MarathonĀ
