Data Analysis

My data analysis model closely aligns with the New A-F Accountability System in Texas. Teachers get an overview of the fundamentals of Domain I-III. After they have a general understanding of the system then data is pulled aligned to each Domain. Here is a brief summary of each:

  • Domain I- Students are identified that are on the threshold of Approaching, Meeting, and Mastering grade level. Thresholds are based on 10% points, this is the equivalent of 4 questions away from each performance level.
  • Domain II- Which students made growth on the STAAR assessment last year? How does this compare to their performance?
  • Domain III- Which students count in multiple student groups under Domain III. These students are highlighted under the performance threshold they fall under.
  • By creating student monitor groups in Eduphoria/Aware by threshold grouping we can then identify Learning Standards that students in each group struggle with for a differentiated intervention plan by student groups.
