I received my Bachelor of Arts from the University of San Francisco in media studies with a concentration in journalism and a minor in political science. Leading up to my career in education, I worked on a statewide campaign before transitioning to publishing. While both of those endeavors were exciting and challenging, I realized I had a passion for public education. Upon leaving San Francisco, I enrolled in San Diego State's teaching credential program, finishing with a single subject credential in English. After a few years in San Diego Unified School District, I joined the team at CCA and have never been happier!
