I grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia, in a family dedicated to public service, social justice, and labor rights. These values - instilled by my parents - continue to influence my work and efforts towards economic justice.Â
Outside of work I like to spend time with my cat, create (bad) art and music, go on adventures outside, and cook meals with friends. I have volunteered and worked in hospice and respite care for individuals living with HIV and believe strongly in the value of caring for individuals in all stages of life and death. I also serve on the board of a small arts organization that brings together community members to make collaborative presentations of group and personal narratives.
