I am a cognitive neuroscientist interested in how our everyday experiences are translated into flexible and adaptive long-term memories.
I received my PhD from New York University, where I worked with Lila Davachi studying how sleep facilitates the stabilization and transformation of new experiences into long-term memories.
As a post doctoral fellow with Vishnu "Deepu" Murty at Temple University, co-advised by Anna Schapiro at UPenn, I studied how the conditions in which we learn information, including repetition, spacing and motivation, impact long-term memory retention.
