Artist Statement

Artist Statement

I am an art teacher and visual artist living in Denver, Colorado. I mainly work with acrylic and oil paint, printmaking, and clay. I paint my friends pets, my plants, and anything else I find to be visually interesting or personally meaningful. My ceramic work is utilitarian; I create pots for plants and coffee mugs. 

I find inspiration in my everyday life and from the people around me. 

Biography

I was born in Englewood, Colorado in 1988. I attended Northern Arizona University and completed my Bachelors of Art Education in 2010. I completed my Masters in Art Education in 2022. I've been teaching visual arts for 15 years and have completed several murals in the local community.
