I am 24 years old and originally from Goshen, Indiana. I have a bachelor of arts degree from Samford University, where I majored in journalism and mass communications; with a broadcast/electronic journalism concentration.
I am currently a second-year graduate student at the University of Georgia. My degree will be a Masters in Agricultural and Environmental Education, with an emphasis in agricultural and environmental science communication. After graduation I plan to apply to law school to receive my Juris Doctorate in Land-Use Law.
My background is very diverse. I have been involved in the agriculture industry since I was born, and still am passionate about it. I also have worked for Indiana Landmarks, Historic Madison Incorporated, and the Historic Preservation Commission of Saint Joseph County, doing freelance architectural photography. I hold several certifications including: Adobe Premiere Pro, IRB, Social Media Marketing, and I am also a Notary for the state of Indiana.
While at Samford I interned at several places, including Alabama Magazine and WIAT CBS 42. I have strong writing skills, and am able to clearly convey my thoughts no matter the topic.
