My name is Emilio Esguerra and I previously worked as an economist at the Department of Economics at LMU Munich.

My research lies on the intersection of economics and political science, studying the importance of social norms and identity for individual behaviour. I employ quantitative methods for causal inference using both natural and field experiments. 

While I have since transitioned away from academia, this website remains as a resource for my research and academic contributions.
