Emil Halseth

Hi! My name is Emil, and I'm a PhD candidate at the Norwegian School of Economics.

My main area of research is industrial organization—how firms compete with each other in markets—with a particular focus on the grocery retail Industry. My work includes using quasi-experimental methods and surveys to study how retail formats, border trade, and price perception affect competition. I am grateful to FOOD for access to the data that facilitate my research.
