Emiel Sanders

As a fourth-year PhD candidate at Ghent University's Department of Economics, I specialize in empirical banking research, with a focus on bank valuations, cost of equity, lending, and systemic risk. My work is supported by funding from the Ghent University Special Research Fund (BOF, 2023-2024) and the Research Foundation Flanders (FWO, 2024-2028).
