At Sahaj Systems, we value your privacy and data security. EMI Loan Calculator is designed as a privacy-first utility. All financial calculations—including Loan EMI, Interest Splits, Loan Eligibility, Loan Comparisons, Fixed Deposit Returns, and Cash Denomination Tallies—are performed entirely on your local device without collecting or storing personal information.  

Personal Information  

We do not collect, store, share, or process any personal information from users. The app functions completely without requiring user registration, login credentials, passwords, or personal identity details.  

Data Collection & Third-Party Services  

Although the core app functions locally on your device, EMI Loan Calculator integrates limited trusted third-party services to support app development, serve advertisements, fetch live exchange rates, and process optional purchases:  

- Google AdMob (Advertisements): EMI Loan Calculator displays banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process pseudonymous identifiers (such as the Advertising ID / AAID on Android), IP address, device hardware specifications, network state, and diagnostic logs to serve relevant ads, prevent ad fraud, and measure ad performance according to Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt-out of personalized ads anytime via your device settings (Settings > Google > Ads).  

- Google Play In-App Billing (Optional Purchases): The app offers an optional "Remove Ads" in-app purchase. All payment processing and purchase validations are handled securely by Google Play Billing (com.android.vending.BILLING). We do not collect, receive, or store your credit card, debit card, or bank account information.  

- Live Currency Exchange Rates API: When using the Currency Converter feature, the app communicates over secure HTTPS connections with public exchange rate APIs to fetch live global exchange rates. No personal data or user identifiers are included in rate requests.  

App Permissions & Storage Usage  

EMI Loan Calculator requests only minimal Android permissions required for its features:  

- INTERNET Permission: Required to display Google AdMob advertisements, fetch live currency exchange rates, and validate Google Play billing tokens.  

- BILLING Permission: Enables optional In-App Purchases via Google Play Store to remove advertisements.  

- Local Preferences Storage: Used locally on your device to save app settings (such as your chosen currency symbol, Lakhs/Crores or Millions/Billions number formatting preference, and local calculation history).  

- File Storage & Export Permissions: When you explicitly choose to export or share a PDF report or loan amortization schedule, the app uses filesystem and sharing features to write the document locally to your device. The app never accesses your private photos, contacts, or unrelated files.  

Data Security & Encryption  

All network calls (advertisements, currency rate updates, purchase token validations) are conducted strictly over encrypted HTTPS (TLS) connections. The app does not store user inputs, financial calculations, or request logs on external servers.  

No User Tracking  

We do not track your activity inside or outside the app. We do not use analytics tools that collect personally identifiable information.  

Children's Privacy  

EMI Loan Calculator complies with COPPA and Google Play Families Policies. The app is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
