MindLodge Trivia (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is a single-player trivia game published by EMH Apps. This Privacy Policy explains what data the app does and does not collect, and how it is handled.
We have designed MindLodge Trivia to need no personal data at all. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share:
Your name, email address, or any account information.
Your phone number, contacts, or address book.
Your location (precise or approximate).
Photos, microphone, or camera input.
Advertising identifiers or device identifiers.
Usage analytics, crash logs, or behavioural data.
Any other personal information.
There are no user accounts, no logins, no advertising SDKs, and no analytics SDKs. The app does not transmit any personal data to our servers — because we do not run any servers.
To make the app usable, the following information is stored locally on your device using the operating system's standard preference storage. It never leaves the device:
Which questions you have already seen, per category, so the same questions don’t repeat until you’ve seen the rest of the pack.
Whether you have purchased the “Unlock all packs” in-app purchase, so paid content stays available between launches.
A developer-mode override flag (off by default) used during testing.
Uninstalling the app removes all of this local data.
If you choose to purchase the optional one-time “Unlock all packs” upgrade, the entire transaction is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) under their own privacy policies. We never see, store, or have access to your payment details.
After a successful purchase, the store sends a transaction receipt back to your device, which the app uses to mark the unlock as active. You can restore a previous purchase at any time from the paywall or the Settings → Restore purchases option.
MindLodge Trivia is suitable for general audiences. Because the app does not collect any personal information from any user, it complies with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK Age Appropriate Design Code, and similar children's privacy regulations by design.
The only third parties involved in the operation of the app are Apple Inc. and Google LLC, used solely to process in-app purchases and to distribute the application. Their handling of any data collected during a purchase is governed by their respective privacy policies:
The app's "Terms of Use" screen reproduces Apple's standard End User Licence Agreement entirely within the app — no external web request is made to display it.
Because we do not collect or transmit any personal data, there is no server-side data store to secure. Locally stored preferences are protected by the standard sandboxing of the iOS and Android operating systems and are accessible only to MindLodge Trivia on your own device.
Since we hold no personal data about you on any server, there is nothing to export, correct, or delete on our end. To clear all local data — including your unlock state and seen-question history — uninstall the app from your device.
