MATHBRIDGE PRIVACY POLICY
Effective date: 23 April 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how MathBridge ("we", "our", "the app") handles
information when you use the MathBridge mobile application. We are committed
to respecting your privacy. In short: MathBridge runs almost entirely on your
device. We do not sell your data and we do not use tracking or analytics
services.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
MathBridge is designed to work without an account. The app does not ask for
your name, email address, phone number, address, or any other personally
identifiable information.
The only information MathBridge stores is information you voluntarily provide
or generate while using the app, and it is kept on your device using Apple's
standard local storage (SharedPreferences and local file storage).
Specifically:
- A local record of practice attempts — topic ID, whether each attempt was
correct, time taken, and timestamp.
- A local record of brain-training and times-tables high scores, best
streaks, and play counts.
- A local record of which calendar days you have studied, used to display
your daily streak.
This information never leaves your device unless you explicitly share it (for
example, by taking a screenshot and sending it).
2. INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT
MathBridge does not:
- Collect your name, email, phone number or date of birth.
- Track your location.
- Collect data from your camera, microphone, photos, contacts, calendar,
reminders, health or motion sensors.
- Use advertising identifiers (IDFA).
- Run third-party analytics, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs.
- Profile you for advertising, or sell any data to third parties.
3. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
MathBridge uses a small number of third-party libraries to function. The only
ones that may generate a network request are:
- Google Fonts — the app uses the Inter font, which may be fetched from the
Google Fonts content delivery network the first time the app runs. Fonts
are then cached on your device. Only the standard HTTP request required
to download the font file is made; no personal information is sent. See
Google's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
- Apple In-App Purchase (StoreKit) — used to process the one-off unlock
purchase that grants access to Senior, Data Science and the four premium
Brain Training games. All purchase processing is handled by Apple. See
Apple's privacy policy at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.
All other libraries the app depends on (Flutter, Provider, shared_preferences,
cupertino_icons, google_fonts, in_app_purchase) run entirely on-device and do
not contact any remote server as part of normal MathBridge use.
4. PURCHASES
MathBridge offers a one-off in-app purchase to unlock Senior, Data Science and
selected Brain Training content. The purchase is processed by Apple through
the App Store. MathBridge never sees or stores your payment details — only a
local flag on your device recording that the unlock has been redeemed. Apple's
own privacy policy governs how they handle payment information.
Junior topics, Times Tables and the free Brain Training games are available
without any purchase.
5. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
Because MathBridge stores data only on your device, you are always in control.
You can:
- Reset all progress (topic stats, game high scores, daily streak) from
Settings → Progress → "Reset all progress".
- Delete all app data by uninstalling MathBridge from your device — this
wipes everything.
We have no servers holding your information, so there is nothing for us to
retain or delete on your behalf.
6. SECURITY
We rely on iOS's built-in app sandboxing and encryption to keep your local
MathBridge data private. No app can read MathBridge's local files without
physical access to an unlocked device. That said, no method of storage is
100% secure — please keep your device locked and up to date.
7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
MathBridge does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because the app collects no personal information from any user — child or
adult — and stores all activity data locally on the device, it is suitable
for use by learners of all ages.
8. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves (for example, if we add
features that require different data handling). When we update it, we will
also update the "Effective date" at the top. Continuing to use the app after
an update means you accept the revised policy.
9. CONTACT & SUPPORT
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, how the app works, or
if you need help, please contact us:

We will do our best to respond within a reasonable time.
