OVERVIEW
IronHeart is built with privacy as a core principle. Your fitness data is yours. It lives on your device and nowhere else. We do not collect, transmit, sell or share any of your personal information.
1. DATA WE COLLECT
IronHeart does not collect any personal data. All information you enter into the app — workouts, exercises, sets, weights, reps, body measurements, and settings — is stored exclusively on your device using local on-device storage. It never leaves your device.
2. DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT
We do not collect your name, email address, location, health records, device identifiers, usage analytics, crash reports, or any advertising identifiers. There are no trackers, no analytics SDKs, and no third-party data sharing of any kind in this app.
3. SUBSCRIPTIONS & IN-APP PURCHASES
IronHeart Pro is available as an auto-renewable subscription, processed entirely through Apple's App Store. Two plans are offered:
• Monthly — $3.99 per month, with a 7-day free introductory trial for new subscribers. After the trial, the subscription auto-renews at $3.99 / month until cancelled.
• Yearly — $15.99 per year, auto-renewing.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID on confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in iOS Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
We do not process, see, or store any payment information. All billing is handled by Apple Inc. under their own privacy policy. The only purchase-related data stored on your device is a local flag indicating an active Pro subscription — this never leaves your device.
4. INTERNET ACCESS
IronHeart does not require an internet connection and does not make any network requests. The app functions entirely offline. No data is ever sent to any server.
5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
IronHeart does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. There are no advertisements in this app.
5a. APPLE WATCH & APPLE HEALTH
If you use IronHeart on an Apple Watch, the watch app reads your live heart rate, step count and distance from Apple Health during a workout in order to display them on your wrist and phone. This data is streamed directly between your paired watch and iPhone over Apple's secure device-to-device channel — it is never transmitted to us or to any third party. Completed workouts may optionally be saved back to Apple Health so you can view them in the Health app. You can revoke Health access at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Health > IronHeart.
5b. MOTION & FITNESS
On iPhone, IronHeart uses the Motion & Fitness sensor (CMPedometer) to count your steps and estimate distance while running or walking. This data is processed entirely on-device by iOS and is never transmitted. You can revoke motion access at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Motion & Fitness.
6. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
IronHeart does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since we collect no data at all, there is nothing to collect from children.
7. DATA SECURITY
Because all your data is stored locally on your device, its security depends on your device's own security settings such as Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode. We recommend keeping your device secured.
8. DATA DELETION
You are always in full control of your data. You can delete individual workouts from the History tab (swipe a workout card right-to-left and confirm), clear a planned day from the Schedule tab, or remove body measurements from the Progress tab. To delete everything at once, simply delete the app — this permanently removes all locally stored workout data, measurements, settings, and purchase records from your device.
9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If we update this Privacy Policy, the updated version will be made available within the app and the "Last Updated" date at the top will be revised. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
10. YOUR RIGHTS
Since IronHeart collects no personal data, there is no personal data held by us to access, correct, or request deletion of. All data exists solely on your own device and is under your full control.
