Ean McFadden is an aspiring game developer, who believes that innovation is not necessarily new ideas or successful ventures, but rather the clear communication of an idea that came naturally or through iteration and that the idea itself must clearly have passion and a certain magic behind it, in order for it to stick.
Ean graduated from Ohio University on August 19th, 2023, summa cum laude, as member of the Scripps Innovation Scholars, the Scripps College of Communication's segment of the Ohio University Honor's Program. Ean pursued a Games and Animation Major, with a corollary focused on Theatre and Virtual Reality, as well as obtaining a Business Administrations Minor. Ean has expressed interest in the areas of Japanese language, myth studies, and entrepreneurship.
During his time at Ohio University, Ean was an involved member of the Lost Flamingo Theatre Company, Ohio University's student-run theatre organization. Ean has been a part of the company in various ways, ranging from acting, serving as a stage hand, assistant stage managing, and directing. Ean also served as the company's Production Manager from 2021-2022.
Ean is currently pursuing his Master's of Entertainment Technology at Carnegie Mellon University and is expected to graduate in May 2026.
