Career Researchers

Vall d´Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO)

26 September 2024 - Barcelona, Spain

About

A dynamic networking platform to showcase research, and foster collaborations among emerging biomedical leaders and industry experts

We are delighted to announce the 2nd edition of the symposium Emerging Leaders in Biomedicine, specifically tailored for advanced Postdoctoral Researchers and junior Group Leaders in the vibrant biomedical community of the Barcelona area.

The goal of this project is to launch a yearly meeting where early-career researchers can meet and receive logistical and scientific support from the local scientific community. The first edition, held in September 2023 at Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute, gathered nearly 100 biomedical researchers from the area and was a great success!

This symposium will be a unique opportunity for emerging leaders in biomedicine of the region to network, showcase their cutting-edge research, and foster collaborations. By participating in this event, early-career researchers will gain visibility, build valuable connections, and contribute to strengthening the local scientific ecosystem.
