Aristocats update from Mrs. Tiffany- 2/28

As we continue rehearsals, please know that we are working very hard to ensure that all decisions are made appropriately, thoughtfully, and fairly for every cast member. Due to an overwhelming number of line assignments for some students, minor cast adjustments have been made to help ensure that every performer has an opportunity to participate and have lines in the production.

I will be sending a message through SportsYou informing families that adjustments have been made to better balance the cast and support all performers.

For clarity, when you bring your performer to rehearsal, please have them check their name tag. The name tag will indicate their cast color and confirm their assigned role.

If you have any additional questions, please feel free to reach out to Miss Tiffany directly.

Additionally, please log into your Parent Portal to ensure that your account balance is current and that your costume fee has been paid. This allows us to move forward with ordering costumes in a timely manner.

Disney’s Aristocats KIDS

We can’t wait to welcome our elementary performers to Aristocats KIDS — a fun, high-energy musical that is the purr-fect introduction to musical theatre! This production is open to elementary students in grades K–5 of all experience levels.

Rehearsals:

• Friday evenings - 5:30-7pm (1/30, 2/6, 2/13, 2/20, 2/27, 3/6, 3/13, 3/20 NO PRACTICE,  3/27, 4/3)

Costumes:

• Provided by studio - $50 fee (costume / prop / set)

CAST PIZZA PARTY AT STUDIO Friday - 4/24, 5:30-7PM

• Every other Sunday afternoon 2-3:30pm (2/1, 2/15, 3/1, 3/15, 3/29)

Spring Break Closure

• Emergence Studio of Performing Arts will be closed during Bullitt County Spring Break in April

• No rehearsals will be held during this week (Saturday, April 4th - Sunday April 11th)

Performance Dates:

• April 15th & 16th (Wednesday & Thursday) at Mt. Washington Middle School

🎭 Tech Week & Performance Information – Aristocats KIDS

Tech Week (MANDATORY for all cast members):

• Sunday, April 12 | 2:00–3:30 PM

• Monday, April 13 | 5:30–7:00 PM

• Tuesday, April 14th - picture night @ 6pm

📍 Location: Mt. Washington Middle School

Performer drop off - at cafeteria door (Door 3) - drop off 30 mins prior to show with blush and neutral lipstick.

This production is designed to give young performers a supportive, structured, and joyful theatre experience while allowing us to create balanced casts and rehearsal schedules for everyone involved. We cannot wait to see these students shine on stage!
