Costumes & Performance Essentials

    •    Costume(s) for each routine (double check all pieces - check to ensure all accessories are packed)

    •    Extra pair of tights (in case of runs/tears)

    •    Extra pair of pirouettes / dance shoes

    •    Required earrings (competition set) Suggest keeping extra set with comp bag at all times.

    •    Required stage makeup (foundation, powder, eyeshadow, eyeliner, lashes, lipstick, etc.)

    •    Hair accessories (bows, scrunchies, clips, bobby pins, hairnets, hairspray, gel)

Awards

• Black leggings & Emergence jacket or Emergence shirt*

•  UNLESS COACHES TELL DANCERS TO REMAIN IN THEIR COSTUMES DUE TO TIME CONSTRAINTS. 

Emergency Kit

    •    Safety pins (for quick fixes)

    •    Body glue / fashion tape (to hold costumes in place)

    •    Tide To-Go stain remover pen

    •    Sewing kit (optional but helpful)

    •    Tylenol / pain reliever & any personal medications

    •    Band-aids / blister pads

    •    Feminine products (pads, tampons, liners)

    •    Extra clear straps / bra inserts if needed

Comfort & Between Routines

    •    Dance bag (large enough to keep everything organized)

    •    Water bottle (labeled)

    •    Small snacks (granola bars, fruit snacks, crackers, etc.)

    •    Small blanket or jacket (venues can be chilly when waiting)

    •    Phone charger / portable charger

    •    Headphones or quiet activity for downtime (no running around venues, must be supervised by parents / guardian when not with team for warm up / call time - this is for dancers safety - venues are large with alot of people.)

Nice-to-Have Extras

    •    Makeup remover wipes & cotton swabs

    •    Baby wipes for quick clean-ups

    •    Deodorant & personal hygiene items

    •    Extra no-show socks or foot undies

    •    Extra set of undergarments

    •    Clear garment bag(s) to keep costumes neat and separated

    •    Lint roller

    •    Travel-size hand sanitizer & lotion

⚠️ Important Reminder: Please label all items (shoes, tights, dance bags, makeup, water bottles, etc.) to avoid mix-ups backstage.

✨ Pro Tip: Pack each costume in a labeled gallon bag (with tights, earrings, and accessories inside) to make quick changes stress-free.

Hair -  middle part, two high pigtails into buns with red hair bow on each bun. (Pick up hair bow from Tiffany)

Comp earrings & tights from studio

Contemporary Team - Love Can Build a Bridge (Large group, age 7 at comps)

Hair - low bun with middle part. MUST use hairnet over bun. No donut bun makers. Example of how to make the bun, but yours must be a low bun.  

Shoes -  Capeizo pirouettes Pirouette link (light suntan to match tights)

Comp earrings & tights from studio

Jazz Team - V.A.C.A.T.I.O.N (Small Group, Age 8 at comps)

Costume Rhinestones, tights (purchase from studio $8), Light Suntan Capeizo pirouettes Pirouette link , Hair high ponytail with hair piece  Link for hairpiece - Pack saftely pins and pin the neck of the costume to keep it from coming undone.

Studio line - (Line, Age 11 at comps)

Chours - Pink fringe dress, hight ponytail with pink scrunchie, tan jazz shoes (Link for jazz shoes ), tights -$8 purchase from studio and comp earrings from studio, studs $8 / hoops $12 pending age each will wear one or the other. 

Hip Hop - Ready Or Not (Large group, Age 11 at comps)

White leotard, black hip hop pants, jazz boots, two high buns with middle part, hoop comp earrings ($12 from studio.)

Teen Jazz Funk - Bang Bang (Small Group, Age 

Unitard, light suntan Capeizo pirouettes (Pirouette link) hair mid ponytail with ponytail braided, Comp hoop earrings ($12 from studio)

Teen Contemporary - End of the World (Small group, Age 14 at comps)

Black costume, black rose hair piece, barefoot - no shoes, hair low slick back ponytail with middle part, black rose clip on right side of ponytail, Comp hoop earrings ($12 from studio)
