Who are we?

EMED was created to fill the gap found by pre-health engineering majors. The mission of the Society shall be to provide resources and opportunities to engineering students that are interested in pursuing careers as healthcare professionals. Service and outreach to the greater campus community will be an important foundation of the Society. Moreover, the Society will promote the use of analytical thought and the engineering mindset in medicine. In pursuing these goals, the Society will create a support network of pre-health students that can share and learn from peer experiences.
