FAQ
How far are you willing to travel? This depends. Upon service requests or quotes, please provide your location to the Emcee. There will be a specific fee for anything over 1 hour outside of our service area.
How much are your services? Service Fees can be found in the FAQ drop down menu, scroll back to the top of the page, scroll over FAQ, and the drop-down menu should appear. Please call or text if drop down menu does not load or appear.
Is there a deposit fee? For all event packages, including weddings, there is a 100$ non-refundable deposit. This deposit secures your date.
What is the pin-back button package? The pin-back button package is a two-package option of homemade buttons for your event. 2 Photos of your choice will be sent to the Emcee crafter before the event. Buttons come in either packages of 50, or 100.
Do you pick the playlist for our event, or can there be requests? Like most DJ services, you will be able to let us know specific parameters to the event. We make each playlist tailored to your taste. You can also request specific songs or genres for your event. Songs can be either clean or explicit, so long as it is cleared with your venue prior to the event.
What forms of payment do you take? Currently we are taking cash and checks, Venmo, Cashapp, Zelle and Paypal.
Do you need full payment up front? Depending on your event type, the non-refundable security deposit will be paid up front at the first meeting to secure your date. The other part of the payment can be paid no later than two weeks before your event.
Do you meet with couples before wedding related events? Yes! I am happy to have a first meeting with couples before their big day! This can be done in person or over video chat at a time that works best for both parties. From there I go over the DJ Contract with the couple, have paperwork signed, processed and filed. Then between the first meeting and the event, couples can contact me for any changes made to their plans up to 2 weeks before the event. During these conversations we can go over song choices, games and dances that will be happening, special guests who are giving speeches, and what type of rules your venue has in place.
