About EMCC

Econometric Models of Climate Change is a series of annual conferences started in 2016. It is held at the end of August and usually has between 50 and 100 participants. Sometimes the EMCC conference is associated with a special issue of a journal, such as the EMCC Annals Issue of the Journal of Econometrics that was associated with the first conference.

We are interested in econometric and statistical work on all facets of climate change: econometric and statistical modeling of physical processes, emissions and pollution, biodiversity loss, economic damages, migration, climate policy evaluation, climate finance, etc.Â
