In honor of Tara’s life, the Wiencek family established the Tara Gladden Scholarship Fund in 2018.  Beginning in 2025, the Gladden family redirected some of the distributions from the original endowment to the Tara Gladden Scholarship Fund. That, along with the generous donations from our extended family, the EMC Family and the community at large, we are happy to announce that this year we are expanding our gift giving to reach even more young dancers.

Through this fund, we will:

• Award annual empowerment-based scholarships to dancers who demonstrate growth, character, and self-awareness.

• Provide financial assistance to families experiencing temporary hardship, ensuring that dedicated dancers can continue their training.

• Expand opportunities for young artists to pursue excellence with confidence and dignity.

This fund exists for one reason, so that every dancer who walks through our doors knows:

You are strong.
You are capable.
You are worthy.
You are more than enough.

We remember Tara by lifting others.

As a courtesy to you, we will be having a Ticket PRE-SALE, available ONLINE through the Pullo Center’s website, or in-person/by phone at their Box Office (Box Office hours are listed below).

EMC Families may use the code EMCFAM to access the Pullo Center’s box office in advance of the sale opening to the public on Mon Nov 9.

When calling the Box Office or visiting in-person, the Pullo Center asks for your patience. The first two days of ticket sales typically bring a high volume of calls and visitors, which may result in longer wait times and delayed service.

In order for EMC to continue to provide the Pullo Center to our dancers as a performance venue, it is imperative that we all try to SELL TICKETS! The theater is a significant expense and we need to put bodies in those seats to pay for the privilege of this experience.

There are 1000 seats in the Pullo Center. Please try to sell 10 tickets.

Holiday Celebration tickets make great Christmas gifts!

Tickets are $35.00 in advance and $45.00 at the door. A very limited number of $25 seats are available in the rear of the theater.

Join us for an age-appropriate, abbreviated first look at this year's Nutcracker Suite.

Watch the children's march from the Party Scene see Clara's solo brought to life, and catch a preview of the Clara and Nutcracker Prince pas de deux. Additional characters from this beloved holiday ballet will also take the “stage”.

EMC’s Ballet Director, Molly Beichler will walk you through the story as it unfolds on stage.

Cupcakes, Meet & Greet with the characters and a photo opportunity on Clara’s throne follow the mini performance.

Bring your favorite little dancer, wear your party dress if you choose,  and bring a friend. This one's for our youngest audience members and the grown-ups who love watching them light up at a live show.

Costume Parade day is one of our most exciting milestones on the road to the show! This is the day your dancer tries on their costume, and our on-site seamstresses make any minor alterations, completely free of charge. It's our way of making this experience as smooth and stress-free as possible for your family.

What to Expect

• Try on costumes and see the magic come to life ✨

• On-site seamstresses available for minor alterations at no cost to you

• Everything handled in one visit — quick, easy, and fun!

We strongly encourage every family to attend. If you're unable to join us, you'll need to schedule a private appointment with Miss Rachel to handle fittings, and please note, any alterations arranged outside of Costume Parade are your responsibility.

This is where the Holiday Celebration season officially begins!

On Sun Nov 22, we’ll hold our Radio City Finale + Bows rehearsal at EMC. This is the Holiday Celebration Kick-Off Rehearsal, and it’s a day that runs deep in EMC tradition.

Come in Holiday Spirit Wear (and pull out all the stops!)

In keeping with EMC tradition, this is the day when everyone shows up in festive holiday attire — performers, Team members, Class Moms, and Dancing Dads.

As long as your performer can safely execute their choreography, let the holiday spirit flow. Sparkle, Santa hats, reindeer ears, holiday socks, jingle vibes — we want it all.

And yes… there’s a little extra motivation:

NHSDA Spirit Awards

The NHSDA will present awards for various categories of spirit expression. So bring the cheer and bring the creativity!

The big moment: Radio City Finale (first time this season!)

We will put the Radio City Finale together for the first time this season — EMC’s iconic, 14-minute extravaganza of Rockette-style choreography.

This dance is an EMC tradition. It runs deep.

Rehearsing it is honestly almost as exciting for our performers as performing it on stage.

Attendance expectations (important)

All performers are expected to:

• attend

• stay for their entire scheduled rehearsal time

There may also be additional rehearsals scheduled on this date, so please plan to be available.

Remember: there will be NO regular dance classes from Nov 23 through Jan 4 due to Thanksgiving, Production Rehearsals, and our Winter Holiday break.

That said, Holiday Celebration rehearsals will still take place as scheduled for performers — we’re simply pausing regular weekly classes, including Kreative Kidz (KK) and Technique Program (TP) classes, during this window.

Tuition & Payments (please read)

These weeks were already factored into your yearly/monthly tuition schedule — meaning you were not charged for the weeks we are closed.

However, there is still a December payment, because tuition is structured as an annual total divided into monthly payments.

Starting Mon Nov 30, Holiday Celebration rehearsals shift into full production mode. If your performer is participating in the Holiday Celebration, this is where all the hard work starts coming together for the stage — costumes, spacing, transitions, music, and all the magic. ✨

Production Rehearsals are a vital part of the performance experience. This is where performers learn what it truly means to be part of a show — not just their individual piece, but the full picture. It’s exciting, it’s focused, and it’s one of the most rewarding parts of the season.
