About EPW

Our Vision

EPW envisions an educational environment where learning is not only cognitive but also physical, emotional and creative. Through embodied and playful approaches, the project seeks to support holistic child development and make learning more inclusive, engaging and accessible for all. 

Project Objectives 

The project is built around the following key objectives: 

Promote inclusive and child-centered learning environments

Empower educators with innovative and practical teaching methods

Enhance children's engagement through experiential and playful learning

Foster creativity, expression and communication skills

Activities & Implementation

To achieve its objectives, the project will implement a series of collaborative and practice-based activities across partner countries. 

Development of a Teacher Handbook and EPW Toolkit

Organisation of workshops and training sessions for educators

Transnational project meetings for coordination and knowledge exchange

Pilot testing of developed methods in real educational settings

Dissemination of results through digital platforms and events

Target Groups

Embodied Play Worlds primarily targets educators working in school education, as well as children who benefit from more inclusive and engaging learning environments.

The project also addresses families, educational stakeholders and organisations interested in innovative teaching approaches and child-centered methodologies.

European Added Value

By bringing together partners from different countries, EPW enables the exchange of diverse educational practices, cultural perspectives and innovative approaches.

This collaboration strengthens the quality and impact of the project, contributing to the development of shared European solutions in the field of education, inclusion and wellbeing.
