Submissions must be no larger than a standard 8.5' X 11" paper, but they can be smaller.

Submissions must be original, unpublished work

Submissions must be in one of the following formats: .pdf, .doc, .docx, .jpeg, .jpg and they must be 10 MB or under. Works submitted in other formats or larger file sizes will not be considered.

We encourage non-digital art submissions (ex. paint, marker, crayon, collage, etc), but we also accept digital art submissions (ex. ProCreate art, photography)

Only 1 submission per person / per competition cycle will be considered.

All submissions must be done online. Unfortunately, at this time, we are not able to accept physical, mail-in submissions.

There is no fee or cost to participate in the ECAC.

All submissions must be completed in English. Submissions in any other language will not be considered.

Artists retain their rights to their work, but by submitting, the artist agrees to indefinitely let the ECAC display their submission, the submission's title, as well as the artist's name and age on their website.

The Embers Create Art Competition is open to individuals currently living in Canada, the United States of America, and Mexico

Participants must be between the ages of 2 and 25 years old as of the submission deadline (August 31st, 2021)

Anyone 17 or younger must have a legal parent or guardian digitally sign the consent on our submission form.

The Deadline for submissions is AUGUST 31, 2021 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time.

Everyone who enters the ECAC will receive a Participation Certificate via email.

Judging will take place between September 1st and September 29th. 1st, 2nd, 3rd and any Honorable Mentions will be contacted via email on or before September 30th.

1st Place: $25 USD Amazon Gift card

2nd Place: $10 USD Amazon Gift card

3rd Place: $5 USD Amazon Gift card

All gift card prizes will be distributed by postal mail.
