As a writer, I think the hardest thing to write about is myself. I guess after reading the stories a person writes you can get to know them through the experiences and events they take the readers through. How, you ask? When you are reading a story and you come across something that really hits home, you can actually feel like you are there, living the story yourself, and you get a little chocked up... that's when you know the writer wrote a true experience. With that being said, that doesn't mean R.L. Stine actually acted upon or lived out what he wrote about. It's the emotions behind the writing. How the characters think, feel, act, live; that's where you find the heart of an author. So if you want to know who I am, or any author, read what I've written.
For the other stuff... I'm a Georgia girl, but I don't like to set my stories where I live. I take my characters to places I'd like to go. I live with my husband, three kids, and two dogs. When I'm not writing or being a mom I work at a local bakery. My true passions are writing and cooking. I could say I'm living my dream life...
