Welcome to the Grammar Gladiator Arena!
Goal: Learn how to "embed" extra information into your sentences like a pro.
Your new clause must start with a lowercase letter (unless it's a name).
Put your extra information immediately after the noun you are describing.
If the information is "extra" (non-essential), wrap it in commas, like two bookends.
Check your verbs. Make sure the subject and verb inside your clause match.
Upgrade your adjectives. Instead of using big, small, good or bad, use more interesting ones.Add vibrant detail to your sentences. For example: The, who was tall, walked home. (Correct, but boring) The man, who was so tall he could touch the ceiling, walked home. (Correct, and more interesting.)
The more accurate and creative you are, the higher you climb!
Desired Takeaway: By the end of this game, you will be able to write complex, descriptive sentences that flow naturally, avoiding the "choppy" feel of simple sentences.
