My research interests are in Computer Vision (CV), Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL), Cybersecurity, and Biometrics.
Previously, I was a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Computer Science at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNC-C) and a postdoctoral Researcher in the Lane Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at West Virginia University (WVU). I received a five-year degree (Bachelor's and M.Sc.) in Computer Engineering in March 2006 and a Ph.D. in Computer and Automation Engineering in December 2010, both at the University of Naples Federico II (Italy).
