Research Interests

I am interested in various fields of mathematical analysis, with particular focus on the theories of calculus of variations and optimal transport. My research interests mainly follow two different lines. The first one regards geometric properties of homeomorphisms and quasi-conformal mappings and finds motivation in problems arising in the study of existence and regularity in Nonlinear Elasticity.  The second one focuses on discrete-to-continuum approximation results for the well-posedness of (congested) transport equations and, when possible, for the associated gradient-flow evolutions.
