WORD OF LIFE STUDENT CAMP
WORD OF LIFE STUDENT CAMP
Summer is coming, which means student camp is soon! We are going back to Word of Life. Camp will be July 26th-31st. This is for every student finishing 6th-12th grade this May. Camp is always one of the most impactful weeks of the year for our students. It is a week where they get away from their normal routines, build deeper friendships, have a ton of fun, and most importantly, spend intentional time worshiping, studying God’s Word, and being challenged to take their next step with Jesus.
The Coast is designed to give students a high-energy camp experience with biblical teaching, worship, team competitions, and activities like swimming, sports, paintball, rock wall, tubing, go-karts, ropes courses, and more.
We are so incredibly excited for what God is going to do in the lives of our students. Please be praying as we go later this month!
On Wednesdays, we are currently walking through our series, "Psalms of the Summer," where we will be studying both Psalm 23 and Psalm 139. We know that summer can change our schedules, routines, and surroundings, but God never changes. Our goal for this series is that they can rest in their identity in Christ, that they can trust that God is with us, cares for us, and leads us every step of the way.
On Sundays, we are currently in our summer series, "Meant for Good," where we will walk through the story of Joseph in Genesis 37-50. Over this summer, we will see how God was working through Joseph's life, even in seasons of betrayal, suffering, waiting, and uncertainty. We are going to be walking through themes like: How does God work through suffering? What does it look like to trust God when life does not make sense? How do we respond when we have been hurt? What does forgiveness and reconciliation look like? And how does this story point to Jesus?
Our prayer is that students would not only learn the story of Joseph, but also grow in their trust in the God who is sovereign, faithful, and able to take what was meant for evil and use it for good.
