OUR STORY

 It all started with a goal. Coming from a humble background, Martha and Jonathan have always had a niche for serving others in whatever way they could. After moving to the Allen, TX from Michoacán, MX in the early 2000's, Martha and Jonathan discovered their talents flourished in the kitchen, especially in homemade Mexican cuisine. They began working at various restaurants in the DFW area, taking in knowledge from every place they worked at. After some years they decided to start a small catering business, cooking from their own home for friends and family around the area. Over time, they began receiving praise from many who noticed the potential in their food. So after working in the restaurant industry for over ten years, they decided it was time to transfer their efforts from their places of work to opening their own business. Taking such a big risk was difficult at first for the ambitious couple, but in October of 2017 their goal was finally achieved. Since then El Volcán has grown to become a well-known local business, and allowed Martha and Jonathan to open two other locations in Plano, TX.
