THE ROCK OF ETERNITY

Musicians from Turin bring an Elvis Presley show to the stage, recalling the magical evenings at the International Hotel in Las Vegas in the 70s, with the aim of reproducing its sounds, paying due homage to the artistic and cultural figure that Elvis represented for the last century pop rock music.

The intention is precisely to represent, within the limits of the impossible, the authentic sound of Elvis which, with the exception of the fans who already know the essence of the real Elvis, to date in Italy is not correctly highlighted in our musical culture.

The show develops on multiple musical themes, with frequent changes of clothes and scenic situations that explain the innovative and revolutionary impact that Elvis' music has determined up to the present day. The undertaking is difficult and risky but we believe it is right to pay homage to an icon like Elvis Presley, aware of his unattainable greatness.

Gli ELVIS PLANET SHOW sono una band del torinese che ha creato uno show ispirato alle leggendarie esibizioni del grande Elvis Presley tra il 1969 e il 1977 a Las Vegas e negli auditorium degli Stati Uniti d'America. Lo spettacolo strizza inoltre lo sguardo alle HITS dei favolosi anni 50 e ad alcuni brani del repertorio hollywoodiano sfoderato da Elvis nelle sue avventure cinematografiche nei sixties, senza dimenticare il suo ritorno alla musica dal vivo con lo speciale televisivo "Comeback special" del 1968 così ben immortalato nel biopic di Baz Luhrmann. Lo spettacolo della band presenta quindi i più disparati generi musicali, continui flashback nella vita di Elvis e continui cambi d'abito allo scopo di creare uno spettacolo per nulla statico e orchestrale. Ad alcune realtà che hanno il sapore di caricatura, la band risponde con un approccio dinamico, elettrico, performante, un omaggio ad uno dei più grandi intrattenitori passati sulla terra.
