I am Yuvia A. Pérez-Rico, a graduate student from the 6th generation of the LCG program. After finishing the bachelor I pursued my studies in Paris, where I did a master in Life Sciences at the École Normale Supérieure. Currently, I am doing a PhD at the Sorbonne University and developping my project at the Institut Curie. My main objective is to identify conserved mechanisms of gene regulation in vertebrates using zebrafish as model organism.

I am Marco Ortiz, a graduate student from 2008 class of the LCG program. I worked as an intern student, and subsequently as a research specialist at the University of Wisconsin-Madison studying germline stem cells in the C. elegans nematode. Currently I am a UCL PhD student at the Francis Crick Institute working on neural stem cells control in the adult mouse brain. Outside of the academic life, I enjoy indoors climbing, and sci-fi books and films.
I am Marco Ortiz, a graduate student from 2008 class of the LCG program. I hold two master degrees in 'Systems and synthetic biology' one from the University of Evry, France and the second from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. Currently I am PhD student at the MPI of biochemistry in Germany working in a bottom-up approach for the reconstitution of minimal cells.
I am a graduate student from the 6th generation of the LCG program. Similar to my fellow co-organizers, I graduated from the 6th generation of the LCG program and adventured to Europe to practice bioinformatics and pursue a masters in life sciences. Nowadays, I am a PhD student at the Biology Institute of the ENS and I study the Evolutionary and Developmental (Evo-Devo) vulva genetics of two nematodes, the famous C. elegans and the yet to be popular O. tipulae

I am also a graduate student from the LCG program. I did my PhD on Evolutionary Genomics of modern and ancient samples at University of Copenhagen under the supervision of Tom Gilbert. Currently, I am a postdoc at Natural History Museum of Denmark working in population genetics of polar bears, narwhals, beluga whales, among other species.
