The Filth and its consequences for ponies
— Filth — is a black liquid that infuses creatures of darkness. It is a viscous, dark substance that oozes from the undead. It possesses destructive power, causing mutation, disease, and corruption in everything it touches.
Ponies that come into contact with the filth begin to mutate over time:
— Mild mutation — these ponies become partially infected. Typically, the mutation is revealed by the growth of additional body parts, such as a second pair of ears, a second tail, or horns.
The physical strength of those mutated at this level remains the same. Infected ponies begin to develop an interest in drinking blood.
Ponies experience discomfort when exposed to the sun.
— Medium mutation level — in addition to additional body parts, infected individuals begin to lose their minds, avoiding ponies and joining groups of demons.
The physical strength of those mutated at this level increases slightly. Infected individuals begin to consume both blood and meat.
Ponies become vulnerable to sunlight and flower moonlight.
— severe degree of mutation — as a rule, this degree occurs only during a direct encounter (bite) with a demon and is divided into stages.
After the 3rd stage comes the 4th, which depends on the type of demon that bit.
Feralrebis — is one of the most dangerous diseases.
The infection can be contracted in two ways:
— by eating Phlospherox berries (a wild flower)
— by becoming infected through the saliva of a sick pony/animal
Already at the 1st stage of infection:
— earth ponies — experience muscle pain throughout the body
— unicorns — lose the ability to use magic in the "usual" volume, closer to the 2nd stage, they completely lose it
— pegasi — suffer from impaired coordination/numbness of the wings or hooves
The disease is not curable.
