Welcome to Elsker Publishing House

We accept poetry pamphlets, poetry collections, and collections of fiction.

We accept simultaneous submissions (we don't believe it is fair on creatives to refuse this), though we do not accept previously published work that has been published as a collection, this includes self-published work or work published with another publisher. We accept collections that include individual poems or short stories that have been published individually in literary journals, periodicals, on social media, or online. 

We accept work from agents and unrepresented authors.

Accepted authors will receive 40% royalties of all copies sold through Amazon and Etsy worldwide.

We accept general and literary fiction. We will NOT accept the following: Horror, gore, fantasy, sci-fi or other genre works. We will also not accept homophobia or racism, pornographic pieces, or pieces that depict harm to animals or children.

Please note we DO NOT accept specially formatted poetry.

Please DO NOT include any headers, footers, addresses, or page numbers in your documents. 

Please make sure your biography is included in the body of your email along with your cover letter. 

All submissions which do not adhere to the guidelines will be deleted unread.

Please do not send follow-up emails, we will be in touch when your work has been considered. Response time is between 1-6 months.

Please send only one submission per category per year.

Collections of short stories or flash fiction totalling 30,000 words.
