This Privacy Policy explains how the ELS mobile application ("ELS", "the app", "we", "us") handles information. By using ELS you agree to this policy.
ELS does not require an account or sign-up.
We do not ask for your name, email, phone number or any other personal details. ELS has no servers of its own.
Your learning progress is stored only on your device.
The app shows ads from Google AdMob (banner ads and optional rewarded videos) and uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the app is used. These Google services collect certain device and usage data, as described in sections 3 and 4.
Before the advertising identifier (IDFA) can be used, iOS asks for your permission. You can refuse and still use the whole app.
To work, ELS saves the following on your device only:
the selected level (Intermediate, Upper-Intermediate or Advanced);
which words you have solved in each level;
your number of in-game coins;
basic app settings, such as whether the "Rate us" prompt has already been shown.
This data never leaves your device and is not available to us. It is deleted when you delete the app.
ELS shows banner ads at the bottom of most screens and offers optional rewarded videos that give extra in-game coins. To provide them, the app requests ads from Google AdMob. Google may collect and process information such as:
your IP address and approximate location derived from it;
device and operating system information;
ad interaction data (for example, which ads were shown or watched);
diagnostic data;
the device advertising identifier (IDFA), only if you allow tracking in iOS.
Google uses this information to deliver, personalize and measure ads and to prevent fraud. We do not receive this information in a form that identifies you. Learn more:

When you first open ELS, iOS asks whether the app may track you. If you allow it, Google may use the advertising identifier to show you more relevant ads; if you do not, you will still see ads, but they will be less personalized. You can change this choice at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
ELS uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the app is used, for example which screens are opened and how often. Google Analytics collects an app instance identifier that Firebase assigns to each installation of the app, usage data (such as app opens, sessions, screen views and ad events), device and operating system information (such as device model, iOS version and app version), approximate location derived from your IP address, and the advertising identifier (IDFA) only if you allow tracking in iOS.
We see this information only as aggregated reports, not in a form that identifies you personally. Google keeps event-level analytics data for a limited time (no more than 14 months) and then deletes it automatically. Learn more: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
ELS has no in-app purchases. Coins are a virtual in-game counter and cannot be bought or exchanged for money.
The app contains links to third-party services: the "Source" link opens a Telegram channel, and "Rate us" and "AvtoTestGo" open the App Store. These services have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.
ELS is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us and we will help remove it.
We do not run our own servers and do not store your data. Information saved on your device stays there until you delete the app. Data collected by Google AdMob and Google Analytics for Firebase is stored and protected by Google under the Google Privacy Policy.
Delete the app to remove all data it has stored on your device.
Turn off tracking in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. You will still see ads, but they will be less personalized.
Rewarded videos are optional: you never have to watch one to use the app.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are published on this page with a new effective date.
