First of all, we are going to learn the phases of the scientific method with an experience...
We know that plants take the water from the soil with roots, because we can see a liquid inside the stem (the sap).
But, how it takes the water? Can we water plants with seawater?
The roots skin can take the water because it is semi-permeable (allows the pass of water). So that, when the salt concentration inside the plant is higher than in the soil the water pass roots skin and enter in the plant. Then the salt concentration of both places is the same.
We cannot water plants with seawater, because the water inside the plant would go to the soil and the plant would dry.

Hello everyone!
Welcome to the first class of our subject. I say ours, because we are going to build it together... I will be your cultural guide and I will help you to improve your knowledge in current aspects of science ;)
Anyway! Let's start with the first questions...
Is astronomy the same as astrology? If not, what differences are there between the two concepts? do you believe in horoscopes? Do you know any famous astrologer? and some famous astronomer?
ASTRONOMERS VS ASTROLOGERS
Who do you recognize in these images? We return to the questions from the beginning... do you know any famous astrologer? and some famous astronomer?
Let's investigate...
TASK 1. Look for information from an astronomer and create a biocube with it.

Deadline: 29/09/2022
TASK 2. As you have already investigated, some of the most renowned astronomers were persecuted and discredited by the Holy Inquisition. Read the following text about one of them -Copernicus- and answer the questions that are proposed below. Moreover, you are going to read a curious text about how was the situation of astronomy investigations in the early twentieth century...
