Welcome to my personal website! My name is Eloy and I am currently a fifth-year PhD Student in Mathematics at Michigan State University, working with Professor Jeffrey Schenker as advisor.
My research interests are Mathematical Physics, Quantum Mechanics, Quantum Information, Quantum Trajectories, and their interactions with Probability Theory, Noise and Disorder, Random Matrix Theory, Concentration Inequalities.
The academic year 2024-25, I was lucky to be the secretary for the American Mathematical Society (AMS) chapter at Michigan State University (MSU) and a Lead Teaching Assistant (Lead TA) for the course MTH 132 Calculus I (in the Fall semester), conducting Pod Meetings with the Undergraduate Learning Assistants (ULAs) and other Teaching Assistants (TAs) about teaching strategies in class.
The academic year 2023-24, I was lucky to be awarded with the Teaching Assistant Award for Excellence in Teaching and the Douglas A. Spragg Endowed Fellowship with the Department of Mathematics at Michigan State University.
The academic year 2022-23, I was lucky to be one of the Student Representatives on the Graduate Studies Committee (GSC) of the Department of Mathematics together with Nicole Hayes.
